The Hanson family felt forever indebted to The Webb Schools for providing Skip and Bob the foundation upon which they stood. They wanted to make a difference and give back, but needed to do so in a manner that met their personal goals and objectives. Joining The Thompson and Vivian Webb Society as well as making an outright gift to establish a family endowment fund for financial aid was a perfect fit for their circumstances.

As a trustee of The Webb Schools and a businessman by profession, Skip looked for ways to leverage his charitable desires to achieve maximum impact. Before his passing, Skip remarked, “Creating a legacy gift has been the most fulfilling charitable effort my family and I have ever experienced. It brought us closer together as a family and enabled us to have great conversations about our future needs and the needs of the people and organizations we care most about.”

“I find that others often overlook the value of estate planning in their charitable considerations when, in fact, it can accomplish significant tax savings as well as provide a rewarding experience you can celebrate during your lifetime. We are extremely proud to support the Fulfilling Our Promise Campaign, which is the most significant, comprehensive effort in the school’s history. It is one of the finest ways to carry on your own values into the future and insure Webb’s ongoing success.”
